Connect Bluetooth headphones, a speaker or a mouse to a Windows computer
Bluetooth connects headphones, speakers, a mouse and more to your computer without a cord.
This page is for you if
- New headphones or a speaker won't show up
- A wireless mouse or keyboard won't connect
Do these steps
-
Step 1: Turn on Bluetooth
Click Start, Settings, then Bluetooth & devices. Turn Bluetooth on.
-
Step 2: Make the accessory discoverable
Follow the accessory's instructions to put it in pairing mode.
-
Step 3: Open the quick menu
Click the network, sound and battery icons next to the clock. Click the arrow next to the Bluetooth button to manage Bluetooth devices.
-
Step 4: Pick the accessory
Under New devices, click your accessory. Follow what the screen says, then click Done.
Good to know
- If a notice pops up saying a new device was found, click Connect. That's Swift Pair.
- If it still won't show up, turn the accessory off and on, charge it, and move it closer to the computer.
Check it with the source
We wrote these steps from these official pages. If your screen looks different, the official page is always right.
