Windows can make the words bigger everywhere, or make the whole screen bigger. You can change it back any time.

This page is for you if

  • Menus and words are hard to read
  • You lean in close to the screen

Do these steps

  1. Step 1: Open Accessibility settings

Click Start, then Settings, then Accessibility. Or press the Windows key and U together.

  2. Step 2: Open Text size

    Click Text size.

  3. Step 3: Drag the slider

Drag the Text size slider to the right until the words are easy to read.

  4. Step 4: Apply

    Click Apply.

Want everything bigger, not just words?

  1. Step 1: Open Display

Click Start, Settings, System, then Display.

  2. Step 2: Change Scale

Next to Scale, pick a bigger number from the list. Pictures, buttons and words all get bigger.
